Privacy Policy

CigarWatcher collects the information needed to operate price alerts, including account email addresses, saved alert criteria, notification preferences, session information, and basic service logs.

Passwords are not stored in plaintext. Authentication credentials are stored as salted password hashes, and active session identifiers are stored in hashed form on the server.

We may record outbound retailer clicks so we can operate affiliate links, measure service performance, and understand which deals are useful. We do not sell personal information.

Third-party retailers and affiliate networks have their own privacy practices. When you leave CigarWatcher for a retailer, that retailer's policies apply.

We may update this policy as the service develops. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
